How Transformational Leaders Use Emotional Intelligence To Increase Organizational Performance
No leadership style has received more attention over the past two decades than transformational leadership. Transformational leaders are visionaries who inspire and motivate to create high performing organizations. Research shows that transformational leaders tend to operate with higher levels of emotional intelligence. We will discuss why these leaders must also operate with a higher level of ethical leadership and moral reasoning to ensure they do not to cross the line from motivation to manipulation.

Speaker Bio
Dr. Michael Hartsfield is the President of Aileron Private Client Services, a leadership coaching company dedicated to developing exemplary leaders. He served on the faculty of Regent University where he was the Director of the Ph.D. In Organizational Leadership program and Chair of the Organizational Leadership and Management Department.
Before beginning his academic career, Dr. Hartsfield worked with the Christian Broadcasting Network where he served as the Managing Producer of their flagship international program, The 700 Club. He later became President of Features International, a full-service film and video production company.
Today, he combines his practical experience and deeper study of leadership to offer coaching services to leaders in a wide variety of organizational contexts. He is a certified leadership development coach and passionate about helping leaders reach their full potential.
He also serves as an adjunct professor at Regent University, Azusa Pacific University, and Liberty University. Dr. Hartsfield earned a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Georgia. He earned his M.A. in Communication and Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.
