Technology Interest SIG  Meeting -- From 3D Modeling to Gamification and More

The next meeting of the Technology Group will be an on-site visit with two start-up companies at the UCF Incubator who are using new technologies.

Dr. Robert Wright, Founder and President of B.E.A.R.S. Therapy (Behavior Education and Research Services)

http://www.bearstherapy.com

Bob travels worldwide sharing his programs to individuals in the health care profession. However, it is important to focus on the technology he uses and the advances made in software programming that can be transferred to ALL SUBJECT MATTER.

Dr. Jennifer Murphy, Founder & CEO

http://www.quantumimprovements.net

Jennifer is passionate about using her expertise in research psychology to improve performance. Her research focuses on creative applications of data analysis for predicting and assessing human performance, training and measurement development, and evaluating the effectiveness of training technology.

She will be discussing why SCORM is going away from Learning Management Systems and is being replaced by xAPI (Tin Can).

Join us on this special visit to the UCF Technology Incubator to learn about and see first-hand new technologies at work.

Our Technology SIG is provided to help you cross the chasm from the 20th to the 21st Century.

You do not need to be a ‘techie’ to understand technology and how it will shape our future. Our presenters are very articulate and can speak ‘techie’ as well as deliver information to non-tech professionals.

To stay relevant in your career our technology sessions will provide you with the information you need to stay current in your profession. We look forward to seeing you in 2016.
