Do teams in your organization avoid conflict? Do they find it difficult to say what’s on their minds at work because it may damage relationships? What if they could effectively communicate with each other in an honest, direct way that promotes collaboration and respect?
During this introductory event, you will get a taste of a robust teambuilding and culture-creating platform called “dialogue.” Based on four core conditions and framed around five principles, the SMART Conversations® Program gives people the skills they need to work together harmoniously and to appreciate each other’s diverse perspectives. What does this mean to your organization? More effective collaboration, increased innovation, greater productivity and improved retention. Our program builds on the thinking advanced by Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”, the dialogue work of David Bohm, and the system thinking of Peter Senge.
Dialogue is based on the four conditions of SMART Conversations®
• Shared Meaning – Are we talking about the same thing?
• Authenticity – Are we being “real” with each other
• Respect – Do we welcome and respect all perspectives?
• Trust – Do we trust each other enough to speak our minds with candor and compassion?
