view into the numerous ways AI can be incorporated into GOOD members’ daily worklife.
Speakers
Christine Wethman
ThINQ, LLC
Chris Wethmanreceived a B.A. in Organizational Behavior from Rollins College and an
M.S. in Positive Organizational Development & Change from the Weatherhead School
of Management at Case Western Reserve University. She also has certifications in
Appreciative Inquiry and developing leadership through emotional intelligence.
With over 15-years experience in the nonprofit sector, her passion lies with guiding
organizations to envision, plan and implement successful change. Her experience
includes developing vision and strategy using Appreciative Inquiry and leading AI-based
summits.
Wethman recently embarked on two exciting initiatives. Launching a consulting
company, ThINQ, LLC and co-creating with Dr. Rick Bommelje and Rev. Wally Arp, a Christian educational experience that combines God’s Word with proven and practical
principles of listening behavior entitled: Listen & Live: Living Life Fully through the
Power of Listening. They are currently collaborating on a book with the same title.
Patti Millar
University of Phoenix
Patti Millar began at IBM in 1992 and worked in multimedia communication: video,
marketing pitches, and informational products. She started human performance
consulting in 1994, spending five years with a progressive and technology-intense
instructional design firm assisting diverse clients in the D.C. area.
Patti’s work expanded to organization development and change management (CM)
efforts, such as impact analyses for enterprise IT implementations. She was the lead
change strategist for the Office of Personnel Management’s Retirement System
Modernization project, a multi-year, multi-million dollar initiative. A professional
certification from Georgetown in OD/CM officially launched the OD phase of her career,
which was quickly followed with a Master’s degree as projects became increasingly
complex.
Patti was a lead facilitator for NAVSEA’s Project Management College, preparing
leadership teams for the demanding collaborative effort required to overhaul aircraft
carriers and nuclear submarines. Certifications in multiple assessment instruments and
proficiency with interactive learning design were hallmarks of this intergroup
collaboration and team development work, capabilities Patti has carried forward to her
more recent work with Lockheed Martin.
Patti began doctoral studies in 2007 to deepen her knowledge and skills as a scholar-
practitioner. She is exploring the social psychology and physiology of stress, with an
emphasis on developing the resources people need to achieve their personal and
collective best. She is a member of a fledgling community of practice for Appreciative
Inquiry online facilitators and teaches psychology, communication, and business
classes for the University of Phoenix.
