Description
A major theme of last fall's international ODN conference was using complexity science as a lens for organizational change. Over the past year, one important theme of GOOD Network meetings has been leadership development. Please join us for the April 7th meeting of the GOOD Network in which these two themes will be woven into one approach designed to enhance our abilities to successfully navigate organizational growth and change.During this session, we will investigate how to improve our own performance and support the leaders with whom we work in both overly turbulent and excessively static times. Using both experiential and more traditional learning styles, we will explore the "change within the change" that helps us hone our intuition and ability to respond appropriately and effectively to new, emergent challenges. We will also discuss the simple rules for leading that can improve leadership effectiveness and organizational innovation. Finally, we will consider what happens when reflection is linked to purposeful action.
This session will move from theory to practice to synthesis and should be a great opportunity to improve your own leadership paradigms and skills.
