Description
Session Overview
The GOOD Network is partnering with our local friends in the HRPS (HR People & Strategy) chapter for our October meeting that focuses on the use of assessments in the current economic environment and how they can help (or hinder) organizations. We have an outstanding opportunity thanks to our HRPS partners to hear from Robert Morgan, President – Americas, from SHL, a global consulting firm specializing in talent assessment solutions. In addition, we’ll be arranging an informal panel discussion where we will ask GOOD members to contribute their own experiences with assessments. To continue the interactive component of the meeting, we’ll also be asking you to work together in groups on a case study involving selection/assessments and report out your findings.
Presenter Topic
Has your business changed over the last few years? How prepared is your organization’s talent to meet these challenges and changes. Do you have the right talent with the skills and competencies necessary to run your successful business? Are the skills and competencies needed to “manage out of a recession” the same as those to manage during a recession?
Robert Morgan, President – Americas, SHL, will explore how some of SHL’s clients and partners have struggled with these issues and share some of the creative and leading edge strategies to address the challenge of managing “Out of a Recession”.
