External Consulting Interest Group

This group's purpose is to provide a collegial environment with opportunities to network, share best practices, and learn about the business and marketing aspects of consulting. 

At our January meeting, we began by endorsing our newly created Purpose Statement and Guiding Principles. Susan Couden was announced as co-chair, and four other individuals offered to serve with Susan and Beth as the leadership team. The group brainstormed 15 ideas for future meeting topics,followed by an interesting discussion of current local and national business trends and legislative moves and their impact on our professional priorities.  

Our next meeting on February 22, 2013, will include continued discussion of trends and the knowledge needed to guide our response to them, along with the accompanying skill gaps and how to minimize them effectively. Please come prepared to offer your thoughts on three trends of importance to business in Central Florida and how we can be prepared to best support our clients and businesses impacted.
