Ronald F. Piccolo is the Cornell Professor of Management and Academic Director for the Center for Leadership Development at the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. His research on leadership, job design, social information processing, and subconscious motivation has been published in Forbes magazine and in academic journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Human Resource Management. Dr. Piccolo has been invited to present his research at such places as the University of Amsterdam, the Rotterdam School of Management, Arizona State, and the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Piccolo serves on the editorial board for the Academy of Management Journal, is a member of the Scientific Affairs committee for the Organizational Behavior (OB) division at the Academy of Management, and is past chair of the OB track in the Southern Management Association. Dr. Piccolo's consulting experience includes leadership development, strategic planning, and board development for such clients as the Central Florida YMCA, Mears Transportation, Lockheed Martin, Puff ‘n Stuff, Inc., 4C, Southern Traditions Development, and the Seminole College Foundation. He currently serves on the boards of directors for the BETA Center, Habitat for Humanity-Orlando, and as cabinet chair and council member for the Heart of Florida United Way.
